Spectacular scorecard published by the American Graphic Company of New York for "The Great Mets," and featuring an illustration of first baseman Dave Orr.  Orr, a star in his era, played for eight seasons, compiling a .342 lifetime batting average.  The game in question took place against the Brooklyn Grays, a team that featured a number of well-known players of the era as well, including Bill McClellan, George Pinkney, and Adonis Terry.  The game appears to have been scored to a 1-1 tie, though the date written on the scorecard (Saturday, June 19, 1886) would indicate a 2-1 Metropolitans victory.

Despite being separated into two pieces at the fold, the 3 3/4" x 5 3/4" scorecard creates a wonderful display, its colorful cover and historical significance documenting a 19th Century game between two legendary ballclubs of the era.
