Two very strong Old Judges as graded by PSA; the first, of Kansas City centerfielder Jim Burns (who played just 15 games with the Cowboys of the American Association in 1888, the first of his three-year career), and the second of Mark "Fido" Baldwin, the Chicago Cubs pitcher who won 33 games with the Chicago team of the Player's League in 1890.

Burns is classified as card #56-4 in The Photographic Baseball Cards of Goodwin & Company book by Jay Miller, Joe Gonsowski and Richard Masson, while Baldwin is card #15-4.

Each of the cards is in strong condition with exceptional image quality, with the Baldwin card exhibiting slight wear in the upper-right corner.  Both cards are marked with the PSA (MK) qualifiers, the Burns exhibiting very light, erased pencil markings on the reverse and the Baldwin containing handwriting from a long-ago collector, labeling and classifying the card.

Two examples of N172s with exceptional image quality and clarity.
