Collection of 15 N172 Old Judges, each graded and encapsulated by SGC.  As is the case with all Old Judges, image contrast varies, with some being faded, and a few have pencil notations on the reverse.  Almost all the cards in this lot have glue residue or paper loss on the reverse from being removed from a scrapbook, a common occurrence with 19th Century cards which were often mounted in such a fashion.  Cards in this listing are identified by the number and pose variation provided in the Old Judge checklist.  The collection consists of the following:

#77-8 Dad Clarke (SGC FAIR 20, Chicago, 1887 copyright),
#125-2 Jim Devlin (SGC A, St. Louis, 1888 copyright),
#132-7 Mike Dorgan (SGC A, New Yorks),
#152-4 Bill Farmer (SGC POOR 10, Pittsburgh, 1887 copyright),
#154-10 Jack Farrell (SGC POOR 10, Baltimores, 1888 copyright),
#173-3 William Fuller (SGC FAIR 20, Milwaukees, 1888 copyright),
#180-2 Gid Gardner (SGC A, Philadelphia, 1888 copyright),
#186-4 Charlie Getzein (SGC FAIR 20, Indianapolis, 1888 copyright),
#196-2 George Gore (SGC FAIR 20, New York),
#222-6 Hardie Henderson (SGC A, Pittsburghs, 1888 copyright),
#241-3 Al Hungler (SGC A - Skinned - Sioux City, 1889 copyright),
#290-2 Grasshopper Maines (SGC GOOD 30, St. Pauls, 1889 copyright),
#327-1 Daniel Minnehan (SGC POOR 10, Minneapolis, 1889 copyright),
#356-4 Tip O'Neill (SGC POOR 10, St. Louis, 1888 copyright), and
