Phillies infielder Jim Fogarty had a six-year career in the Philadelphia organization, plus a seventh year with the Philadelphia A's of the Player's League in 1890.  Compiling a lifetime batting average of .246, like many players of his era, Fogarty was a stolen base threat, swiping 102 bases in 1887 and 99 in 1889.

This, his 1887 Old Judge card (card # 165-4), is graded GOOD 2 by PSA, largely due to general wear and fading in the image.  The card itself is a full-sized Old Judge, with no back damage or major surface wear that is so common among cards from this issue.

Population Data
PSA Population: 13 total graded, 4 at this level, 6 higher
SGC Population: 32 total graded, 6 at this level, 14 higher*

*Note: it is unclear if SGC has noted the different Fogarty poses, but since just one of the four poses is classified in their population report, we will go under the assumption that the four poses are all counted together as one card.
