Produced by the Fan Craze company of Cincinnati, OH, this 1906 issue features vivid black and white photographs of 51 American League and 54 National League stars of the early 1900s.  Designed as a card game, each card contains a baseball play (strike, out, HR, etc.) printed at the top of each card.  As is the case with other round-edged "game" cards of the era, they are more apt to be found in better condition - however, the 1906 Fan Craze set, in and of itself, is more scarce than many other popular issues of the era.

An interesting feature of the set for today's collectors is that its player subjects include some of the greatest stars of the early 20th Century, while simultaneously containing cards of the stars of the late 19th Century.  Such is the case with this card of Chicago and Boston star Hugh Duffy, who bridged the gap between two centuries.  Duffy broke in with the 1888 Chicago White Stockings, and took his last at bat with the 1906 Philadelphia Phillies.
