Scarce T206 backs continue to be in high demand among T206 collectors, with virtually every back commanding a premium in the market.  This trend shows no sign of stopping; T206 scholar Scot Reader recently published a study illustrating the massive multiples collectors are now paying to obtain cards with more scarce back varieties.

According to T206Resource.com, the Cycle 350 back is ranged #22 of 37 possible T206 back varieties, in terms of scarcity.  This card, of Reds' pitcher Art Fromme, is graded GOOD 2 by PSA, and contains a relatively clean Cycle 350 back.  Many auctions will not break out a card like this into a separate lot, preferring instead to bundle this card into a larger group lot of T206s.  In the cases of cards like this, we sometimes prefer to recognize the individual collector, giving back collectors a chance to win a card like this without having to purchase it in a large lot.

Population Data
PSA Population: 2 total graded, 0 at this level, 2 higher*
SGC Population: 2 total graded, 1 at this level, 0 higher

*NOTE that the back variety is not indicated on the grading flip of this card, as PSA only recently began recognizing back varieties for T206 cards.  As such, it is likely - in fact, definite - that Art Fromme Cycle back cards have been graded but their backs not recognized in PSA's population reports.
