Another exceptional T206 scarcity, the Southern Leaguer with Brown Hindu back.  Brown Hindu is ranked by T206Resource as the #12 most scarce back, just behind American Beauty 460.  The Southern League designation adds an additional element of scarcity, as these cards were an additional group of 48 subjects that were printed in late 1909 and distributed separately from the major-league players.

Graded PR-FR 1 by PSA, this card of William Edward "Buck" (not Bock, as commonly spelled) Hooker, of the Lynchburg Shoemakers, exhibits all the qualities of a PR-FR condition card - significant creasing, edge, and corner wear throughout, and general wear that discolors the reverse.  The beautiful Hindu ad on the reverse is clearly visible, however, an excellent example of a scarce and difficult Southern Leaguer.

SGC Population: 3 total graded, 1 at this level, 2 higher

*Note that PSA just recently began classifying T206 cards by back variety, so additional examples are likely graded and categorized as "unknown back."
