Pair of postcards related to Notre Dame football games in 1923 and 1926.  Collection includes: 1) Postcard-sized game card featuring the game score of a November, 1923 game between Notre Dama and Butler.  Featured on the card is Gene Oberst, a lineman with Notre Dame between 1920 and 1924 who also won the bronze medal in javelin at the 1924 Olympics in Paris.  One of Notre Dame's "Seven Mules," Oberst blocked for the Four Horsemen in the 1920s, and later became a college coach.  VG/EX condition, with minor wear. 2) 1926 Notre Dame score postcard describing game results from the November 20, 1926 game against Drake, won by Notre Dame, 21-0.  Coached by Knute Rockne, the Fighting Irish posted a 9-1 record in 1926.  Postcard features All-American back Harry O'Boyle and Joe Benda and John Wallace.  The postcard is in POOR condition, postally used with soiling on both sides.  Still, an interesting Notre Dame postcard featuring an All-American.
