Exceptional official program from the 1934 NFL championship, the second annual championship game, again pitting the New York Giants against the Chicago Bears at the Polo Grounds in New York.  Known as the "Sneakers Game," the Giants were behind at halftime on the icy Polo Grounds field, when they changed into basketball shoes for the second half, proceeding to score four touchdowns and win the game, 30-13.  Video of the remarkable game can be found here:

The program is clean, with a heavy crease that has punctured the center in about a two-inch strip just above the head of Ken Strong.  The puncture, not obtrusive but certainly visible, appears on all pages.  A vertical fold down the center has long since flattened, some mild separation is evident at the spine, and the game score is written in pencil on the cover, which also exhibits some mild foxing.  Still, despite the condition flaws, a very desirable program.
