Behind the arms of future Hall of Famers Dizzy Dean and Carl Hubbell, the National League defeated the American League, 4-3 in the All-Star game at Braves Field.  The game also marked the first All-Star appearance of then-rookie Joe DiMaggio, who would go 0-for-5 with an error in right field.  Presented is a single ticket-stub from the game, featuring images of Judge Landis along with league presidents Ford Frick and Will Harridge.  The stub appears VG to VG/EX with overall wear, but an irregular tear at the perf has resulted in significant area of paper loss on the edge, on the back of the stub, and has also developed a crease in that same area.  Still, the presentation quality is strong, an excellent example of the beauty of early ticket art.
