Attractive two-color cover graces this WWII-era program from the 1942 NFL Championship between the Chicago Bears and Washington Redskins, played at Griffith Stadium in Washington.  Attendance was just over 36,000 as the Redskins won the game 14-6, a one-yard third quarter run by Andy Farkas the difference for Washington.  The program is in VG condition save for some pencil markings (a very light "42" on the cover, and additional markings on the roster pages).  Some mild separation is visible at the spine, simply due to age, and some discoloration and minor wear (with a few small tears) are evident along the right edge.  Some very light creases are visible along the top edge, along with a corner crease at the upper-right that appears to impact just the cover.  A very desirable program, prized among collectors.
