The 1947 World Series was extremely significant in that it was the first in history to include an African-American player, as Jackie Robinson's Dodgers faced the New York Yankees, who would take the Series in seven games.  Game 3 was a Dodgers win, largely on the basis of a six-run 2nd inning that chased Yankee starter Bobo Newson.  For his part, Jackie Robinson went 2-for-4 with a run scored.  Stub appears in EX condition with little wear to the edges, an exceptional memento from an important World Series.
