One of the more astonishing components of the San Antonio collection we have gradually been unveiling was an extensive collection of autographed 1952 Topps cards.  The collection included hundreds, all of which will be made available in our next several auctions.

The first grouping of cards is featured here: a fantastic collection of 63 cards, including Hall of Famers, high numbers, and difficult commons.  All but one of the cards has been authenticated and graded by PSA.  A complete listing of the cards and their assigned grades is as follows:

PSA EX-MT 6 (1 card): #283 Phil Masi, PSA EX 5 (7 cards): #66 Preacher Roe, #99 Gene Woodling, #217 Snuffy Stirnweiss, #219 Bobby Shantz, #226 Dave Philley, #242 Tom Poholsky, #297 Andy Seminick; PSA VG-EX 4 (16 cards): #7 Wayne Terwilliger, #14 Bob Elliott, #47 Willie Jones, #51 Jim Russell, #68 Cliff Chambers, #94 Sam Mele, #111 Harry Lowrey, #114 George Munger, #131 Morrie Martin (MC qualifier), #142 Harry Perkowski, #145 Joe Haynes, #172 Eddie Miksis, #189 Pete Reiser (MC qualifier), #206 Joe Ostrowski, #238 Art Houtteman; VG+ 3.5 (1 card): #134 Joe Tipton; PSA VG 3 (13 cards): #17 Jim Hegan, #22 Dom DiMaggio, #38 Wally Westlake, #57 Ed Lopat, #72 Karl Olson, #82 Duane Pillette, #84 Vern Stephens, #162 Del Crandall, #246 George Kell (HOF), #255 Clyde Vollmer, #266 Murry Dickson, #276 Jim Wilson, #310 George Metkovich; PSA GOOD 2 (17 cards): #29 Ted Kluszewski, #33 Warren Spahn (HOF - MK qualifier), #40 Irv Noren, #49 Johnny Sain, #52 Don Mueller, #55 Ray Boone, #69 Virgil Stallcup, #77 Bob Kennedy, #91 Red Schoendienst (HOF), #122 Jackie Jensen, #137 Roy McMillan, #168 Charlie Silvera, #200 Ralph Houk, #223 Del Ennis (MC qualifier), #248 Frank Shea, #300 Barney McCosky, #396 Dick Williams (HOF); PSA FR 1.5 (4 cards): #11 Phil Rizzuto (HOF); #106 Mickey Vernon, #113 Dick Sisler, #249 Bobby Adams, PSA PR 1 (1 card): #294 Walker Cooper, PSA AUTH (3 cards): #10 Al Rosen, #305 Paul Richards, #306 Lou Sleater; UNGRADED BUT GUARANTEED AUTHENTIC: #387 Bill Meyer

A wonderful selection of 63 cards, representing 15% of a complete, signed set, including stars, Hall of Famers, high numbers, and scarce autographs.  63 cards total.

PLEASE NOTE: An astute collector brought to our attention an oversight made by us, and then by PSA, in the authentication of one card originally in this collection, card #387 of Billy Meyer.  We removed the Meyer in question from the auction, but thankfully had another one to replace it!  We guarantee this signature to be authentic, and have included it in this collection (along with a revised scan).
