The 1954 World Series was David vs. Goliath in a lot of ways.  Despite the fact that the Giants won the National League by a five game margin over Brooklyn, Cleveland's incredible .721 winning percentage finished even 8 games ahead of the mighty Yankees, an incredible 111-43 clip.  The Giants had other ideas, however, sweeping the Indians in a series that was never really even close.

Presented here are two documents from that Series - an attractive stub from Game 2 at the Polo Grounds, as well as a full ticket to Cleveland Stadium for Game 3.  The stub is in VG condition, some mild toning and corner rounding apparent.  A soft upper edge results in a similar grade for the full ticket, somewhat exacerbated by some wrinkling near the perforations.  Two pieces documenting the 1954 World Series.
