Beautiful 1967 Baltimore Orioles Home jersey as worn by catcher and fan favorite Andy Etchebarren in his second full season.  Etchebarren, who passed away while we were assembling this auction, batted .215 with 7 home runs in 330 at bats with the 1967 Orioles.  The Wilson size 42 jersey features Etchebarren's name on the reverse, his uniform number 8 on both the front and back.  Etchebarren signed the jersey in black marker at the tail.  MEARS has deducted half a point from their base grade of 10 for proken piping near the collar, and another half point for staining under the armpits of the jersey, arriving at a final grade of A9.  An exceptional jersey, likely obtained directly from Etchebarren by former Baltimore Orioles broadcaster Ted Patterson.  Full LOA from James Spence Authentication.
