Spectacular official Braves Field scorebook for the 1915 World Series, which pitted the home team Boston Red Sox against the Philadelphia Phillies.  While he did appear in five games with the 1914 team, 1915 was the first full season for the great Babe Ruth, who posted a won-loss record of 18-8 with a 2.44 ERA, clubbing 4 home runs in 92 official at bats with a .315 batting average.  The Red Sox won the series in five games, playing just two games at Braves field - October 11 and 12 - and winning both by 2-1 margins.  This 12-page scorecard clearly originates to one of those two dates but has been unscored.  In remarkable condition, the pages are sturdy with signs of a long-ago vertical fold that has subsequently flattened out, and some minor wrinkling here and there throughout, mentioned here only for accuracy.  Ruth appears in a team photo on the interior pages, as well as in a second team photo on the back cover that is part of the famous Stag Sweaters advertisement.  Very mild toning to the somewhat-glossy pages is evident, as is some very slight surface wear.  An exceptional piece, the finest we have encountered, a very early World Series program from the rookie season of Babe Ruth.
