Spectacular card from this rare black and white issue, of which little information is known.  The general consensus is that the set was issued with some type of gum or candy in 1922/23, and that there are 64 cards in the set.  Aside from that, the set is universally regarded as one of the most rare of the 1920s black and white issues.  It is also one of the most attractive, with sharp, clear photography and crisp, white borders.

Such is the case with this example, of Hall of Famer George Sisler.  Graded EX+ 70 by SGC, the card boasts crisp, white borders, with minimal corner and edge wear that slightly reduces the grade,  The card is among the more attractive graded W503s you will ever see, in terms of technical grade, as there are just five cards from the entire issue that have ever graded higher than this one.  An exceptional rarity.
