Primarily found in northern California, the card issue known as "Texas Tommy" was issued by the Cardinet Candy Company of Oakland.  Very scarce today, the cards known today as "Type 1" contain biographical information on the reverse, along with the words "Texas Tommy" (the name of both a popular dance and a candy bar at the time) printed at the top reverse.  While 52 cards are currently known in the Type 1 format, the rarity of the cards is such that more are likely to exist, and while the Jackson, Cobb, Wagner, Mathewson and Speaker cards carry significant value, the reality is that all the "commons" are extremely desirable and valuable.  This example, of Boston's Jake Stahl, has been graded VG 40 by SGC due to slight overall wear.  One of the more rare and desirable cards of the era.
