Though the authentic Henry Johnson Confectioners back stamp is easily identified among collectors knowledgeable about the issue, there is a little known, second Henry Johnson stamp that is quite rare.  That stamp is illustrated here, in this card of pitcher Guy Morton.  Featuring a green stamp advertising Henry A Johnson Wholesale Candies, along with an Oakland address, cards with this particular stamp are extraordinarily rare.  In fact, as an avid collector of Henry Johnson Confectioners cards, LOTG owner Al Crisafulli has only seen three examples - one that resides in his private collection, another that resides in the collection of an E121 authority, and this one, which we received on consignment.  The card appears very strong, thourh a strip of paper loss mars the reverse.  Otherwise, an outstanding representation of this incredibly rare bad advertisement.

Please note that the card has not been graded because SGC no longer grades stamped-back issues, and PSA would likely not grade this issue due to the fact that it is currently uncatalogued.
