Though just a dozen or so different subjects have been reported from this interesting, illustrated postcard issue, it is likely that more exist.  Thus far, the key to the issue is the card of "Shoeless Joe" Jackson.  With no more than a handful graded, the card is extremely desirable, as is the remainder of the set (which also includes Hall of Famers Ty Cobb, Frank Chance, Miller Huggins and Christy Mathewson).  Featuring detailed illustrations and surrounding biographical cartoons, each postcard is printed in blue ink with ornate typeface on the reverse.  As of this writing just four examples of the Jackson have been graded by either SGC or PSA.

This particular example comes to us by way of the Pacific Northwest, where a gentleman discovered the postcard amidst some family heirlooms and other postcards (this was the only baseball-oriented card).  His research led him to Love of the Game, since we recently auctioned an example graded AUTHENTIC by SGC due to a slight trim, for $1,416 in our Spring, 2016 auction.  We submitted the card to SGC for encapsulation this summer, a fresh-to-the-hobby example that presents extremely well.
