Spectacular 1950s garrison cap as worn by ushers or vendors at Yankee Stadium.  The cap, remarkably well-preserved, is construted of blue and red cloth with white piping.  A Yankees patch with the familiar Uncle Sam top hat graces the front.  The interior band is leather, with a satin lining.

Aside from some age and use-related soiling and some tiny holes in the cloth (none of which materially impact the eye appeal of the piece), the cap is simply beautiful, in excellent condition.  Clearly well-worn, the hat was also carefully maintained by its owner, so it remains in excellent shape today.  This is the first cap of this nature we have ever encountered.  An interesting and very desirable relic from the House that Ruth Built.
