Collection of 20+ 8x10" black and white photos, depicting the construction of Yankee Stadium in the mid 1970s.  Between 1973 and 1976, the Stadium was closed and completely renovated, eliminating the columns that supported the upper deck, removing the stadium's copper facade, installing new, blue plastic seats, adding new luxury suites andrenovating the rest rooms.  This extensive collection chronicles the renovation, showing the Stadium in various states of disrepair and revitilization.  Many of the photos are gorgeous, looking more like modern photographic or documentation of urban decay than simply chronicling the revitilization of a baseball field.  All the photos exhibit some degree of toning and age-related curling, though most display very well.  A few have pronounced edge or corner wear, and the occasional crease or corner clip.  Still, an excellent collection of the renovation of the original Yankee Stadium.
