Enormous collection of boxing memorabilia, featuring many of the greatest prizefighters of all-time.  Collection includes the following:  1) 1964 Record Album I Am The Greatest: a decade before rap was born, Cassius Clay rhymed his way through a best-selling album predicting how he would defeat Sonny Liston.  And he did.   Poor condition, repaired with clear tape.  2) 1964 Charlton Publications “I Am The King!” Cassius Clay Collector’s Edition. A newsprint magazine issued just after Clay defeated Sonny Liston to capture the title, it includes a biography and pages of photos of the newly crowned king of the world.  3) 1971 Muhammad Ali 8 mm Film Box: from Columbia Pictures Home Movies, this display box once housed a reel of 8 mm film but now makes an interesting display for an Ali collection. 4) 1970s Visual Aid card 11 x 14 of the famous Clay-Liston II Knockout. 5) 1973 TV Guide for May 10-16, 1973, with Muhammad Ali cover. 6) 1974 Closed Circuit Ticket for Ali-Foreman, The Rumble In The Jungle. 7) 1975 Muhammad Ali Dean Martin Celebrity Roast NBC publicity flyer. 8) 1975 Ali-Wepner press photo: Chuck Wepner, the Bayonne Bleeder, was the club fighter who lasted the limit with Ali and inspired a young struggling actor named Sylvester Stallone to create a character he named Rocky Balboa. 9) 1976 Ali-Dunn press photo with NBC press release: In 1976 Ali defended his title against British Commonwealth champ Richard Dunn.  This head to head photo of the pair was released to promote the match, which NBC broadcast. 10) 1977 Illustrated Current News poster from October 14, 1977, featuring Ali in his bout with Ernie Shavers. 11) Three cardboard die-cut Tyson/Holyfield II fight displays, including two 11" x 14" displays for TVKO and USSB telecasts, and an 11" x 17" display for St. Ives Malt Liquor.  12) 1978 Don King Productions promotional brochure for Roberto Duran vs. Esteban De Jesus.  13) 1980 Cuevas vs. Hearns Countdown one-sheet from the press kit for their fight, depicting the pair and listing their records to that date.  14) 1981 Leonard vs. Bonds poster: Colorful 17" x 26" broadside advertising poster promoting the March 28, 1981 bout between Leonard and Larry Bonds at the Carrier Done in Syracuse, won by Leonard in the 10th round.  15) 1945 Parade Sportive collection (4), including Marcel Cerdan, Primo Carnera, Leo Kid Roy and Dave Castilloux.  16) 1920s/30s Everlast Photographic Premiums (17), w/Max Baer, Jim Braddock, Maxie Rosenbloom, Jack Sharkey, Jack Delaney, Tommy Loughran, Otto Von Porat, Primo Carnera, Youn Stribling, Mickey Walker, Lou Ambers, Johnny Risko, Jimmy McLarnin, Tony Canzoneri, Abe Attell, Henry Armstrong and Tommy Farr.  17) 1960s-70s Fan Fotos Collection (16): One of two mail-offer photo series depicting boxers from the era (the other was Sport Pix), these printed cards contain career-contemporary premiums of many fighters with few other cards.  The issue caried in size and format through the years.  Offered here are the following (asterisk indicates trimmed): Sugar Ray Robinson, Sandy Saddler, Vincente Saldivar, Floyd Patterson, Bennie Briscoe*, Chucu Castillo*, Marcel Cerdan*, George Chuvalo*, Henry Armstrong*, Chris Finnegan*, Jimmy Ellis, Bob Foster*, Emile Griffith*, Billy Conn*, James J. Braddock*, and Harold Johnson*. 18) 1990s Japan World Boxing Magazine (5): These were offered as premiums inside issues of the magazine, printed on glossy paper with English and Japanese printed fronts and blank backs.  Offered are Genaro Hernandez, Michael Nunn, Yuri Arbachkov, Tracy Harris Patterson and Pone Kingpetch.  An extensive memorabilia collection including premiums, posters, display items, promotional flyers and one-sheets, and more.  56 items total.
