Our initiall belief (and description) of this item was that it originated from a 1955 dinner attended by our consignor, who obtained the piece in person at the Chesapeake Restaurant in the Baltimore area.  The presence of Dick Kryhoski, Don Larsen and Bob Turley likely dates it to 1954, however, as the three were traded to the Yankees in November and December of 1954.  The napkin contains the signatures of many of the second-division team's starters, including tougher signatures like Eddie Waitkus, Bobo Newsome (who passed in 1962), and Vern Stephens (who passed in 1968), along with broadcasters Howie Williams and Bailey Goss, and stars Joe Coleman, Bob Turley, Ryne Duren and Don Larsen (though Larsen's signature is quite faded).

The key signature, of course, is that of Ted Williams, inexplicably a part of this dinner despite being a member of the rival Red Sox.  His unmistakeable signature graces the center of the napkin, boldly and confidently applied amidst the Orioles players.  Full LOA from James Spence Authentication.
