Official 1927 New York Yankees scorecard for the second game of a May 28 doubleheader against the Washington Senators.  A pitcher's duel, Washington won the game, 3-2, Firpo Marberry outdueling Wilcy Moore.  Despite scoring just two runs, the Yankees scattered ten hits, with third baseman Joe Dugan being the only position player in the starting lineup not to get a hit.  Lou Gehrig continued his torrid hitting, going 2-for-4 to raise his batting average to .408 (he would finish at .373).  Carefully scored in black ink, the scorecard is otherwise in EX to EX/MT condition, with some minor areas of wear at the edges and spine, and some light but even toning.
