After Warren Spahn and Johnny Sain had each been used in two World Series games for the 1948 Braves, Boston entered Game 6 with Bill Voiselle on the mound against future Hall of Famer Bob Lemon at Braves Field.  Behind 3-1, Spahn entered the game in relief in the eighth inning and gave up a fourth run.  That would be the decisive one, as Boston pushed across two in the bottom of the inning but lost, 4-3.  Attractive full ticket grades roughly VG with well-rounded corners and overall toning.
