Interesting collection of memorabilia items related to the St. Louis Browns.  Collection includes the following:  1) 1945 Playing Card Set: Outstanding unused playing card set in its original presentation box.  Two card decks wrapped in their original paper wrapping and still sealed, each bearing the 1944 American League Champions logo.  The box itself is well worn, a brown chipboard box with considerable tearing at the folds and on the lips as well.  2) Pen & Pencil Set: Wooden bat-shaped fountain pen and mechanical pencil in original tan chipboard box, typically ordered by mail.  EX condition.  3) 1944 American League Champions Pinback Button: Measuring 2 1/4" in diameter, attractive pinback button bearing the Browns logo and American League Champions 1944 surrounding it.  EX/MT appearance with light patina to the metal reverse.  4) Team Logo Pinback Button:  Identical button without reference to the 1944 championship, beautiful appearance, likely never used, with some very light wear on the reverse.  5) Boys' Brigade Pinback Button: 3/4" pinback button featuring the Browns' logo, "Boys Brigade" printed inside the baseball itself.  Original paper backing from the St. Louis Button Co. still attached, EX/MT-NM condition.  6) St. Louis Browns Booster Pinback Button: 3/4" pinback button promoting the St. Louis Browns Boosters, original St. Louis Button Co. paper backing attached, EX/MT condition with mild toning.  7) 1950s Button: 3/4" pinback button promoting the St. Louis Browns, EX condition with mild toning.  8) St. Louis Browns "Brownie" Lapel Pin/Tie Tack: VG/EX condition, slight bending to the pin itself, otherwise strong.  Nine pieces total, including both the pen and pencil.
