Gorgeous flame burned Louisville Slugger used by Hall of Famer and pure hitter Rod Carew.  Carew starred with the Minnesota Twins between 1967 and 1978, batting an incredible .388 in 1977 and winning the MVP.  Carew was dealt to the California Angels in early 1979,  where he had seven more productive seasons, making the All-Star team six times. He finished his career with 3.053 lifetime hits.

The bat has been graded GU 9.5 by John Taube at PSA/DNA.  The 34.375" bat weighs in at 31.9 ounces and exhibits many ball marks and stitch impressions, along with blue ink transfers from swatting American League baseballs to the gaps of AL outfields.  Carew's uniform number 29 is written on the knob in black marker.  The handle exhibits a light application of pine tar, and a handle crack that has been repaired.  An outstanding example, an excellent game-used bat from an important Hall of Famer and hit machine.
