Outstanding Worth model WC129 bat used by Yankees icon Don Mattingly during the tail end of his career, ordered between 1992 and 1995.  Weighing 31.9 ounces and measuring 34 inches, the bat exhibits outstanding evidence of use, with a handle crack along with many ball marks and stitch impressions, including blue ink transfers, throughout the barrel.  Interestingly, the number 5 is written on the knob and top barrel in black marker.  Later in Mattingly's career, it was common for Donnie Baseball to pay tribute to former Yankee greats by inscribing his bats with the retired numbers of various Yankees.

From the collection of Ted Patterson, who likely obtained the bat directly from Mattingly during a postgame interview, the bat has been graded GU 9.5 by PSA/DNA.  Also includes a full LOA on the autograph from James Spence Authentication.
