Extremely strong card of St. Louis Browns second baseman Joe Gedeon, who was a friend of Black Sox conspirator Swede Risberg and was present during the meeting wiith gamblers where the plot was discussed to throw the World Series.  He was banned from baseball in 1921 for having "guilty knowledge" of the scandal.  The card is outstanding, with square corners, even toning, rich color, and mild surface wear.
