The T3 Turkey Red Cabinet set is considered by many prewar collectors to be the most attractive set ever issued. Their extremely large size, however, makes them susceptible to a multitude of condition issues that make higher-grade examples extraordinarily difficult to find.  Indeed, of more than 5,200 examples from the set graded by PSA, just 305 have graded EX-MT or better, and only 35 have graded NMT or better.  Small condition flaws count for a lot with this set, and since the cards were often displayed or hung on walls, even those examples not suffering from pinholes and tape marks are often found with corner, edge and back wear.

This example, of Browns Hall of Famer Bobby Wallace, has achieved the lofty grade of EX-MT from PSA, with just one example grading higher.  Like many of the T3s in the collection we are offering, the surface of this card is amazing, with incredibly vivid detail and color and a clean, glossy surface rarely seen on T3s.  Mild corner wear accounts for the grade, but the card image, virtually three dimensional in its clarity, more than compensates.

Bobby Wallace had a 60-year career in baseball as a player, manager, umpire and scout.  It is a rare player that has such a lengthy career, and it is a rare T3 cabinet that achieves such a high grade.  An extraordinary card; one of the more spectacular specimens you will ever see.
