Willie "Hit 'em where they ain't" Keeler was a member of the 1894 Baltimore Orioles, one of the greatest teams of the 19th Century.  He played with five other teams in his 19-year career, compiling a stellar .341 lifetime batting average, including a then-record 44-game single-season hitting streak at the start of the 1897 season.  That record remained the National League record until broken by Pete Rose in 1978.  That season, Keeler led the league with an incredible .424 batting average, his career high.

This card exhibits a considerable amount of surface wear as well as a small stain on the bottom.  Corners are rounded, and the edges are chipped in places, and the Turkey Red ad back is stained in spots, clearly an off-grade card.  Still, even off-grade T3s of players of Keeler's nature are difficult to come by and widely collectible.  An outstanding example of a key card of one of the deadball era's greatest players.
