Prewar baseball postcards continue to grow in popularity, likely because of their vivid images and sharp photography.  This rare issue, produced between 1909 and 1915 by the Max Stein Company of Chicago, featured images of many types of subjects (actors, boxers, etc), including 25 baseball images that are highly sought after by baseball collectors.

This card, of legendary Giants HOF manager John McGraw, is beautiful for the grade, with a clean image and minimal surface wear.  Not postally used, the front exhibits what appears to be a n ink transfer on the opposite size of the "Post Card" design that appears on the reverse.  The lower-right corner has a small crease, and the corners have wear appropriate for the grade.   There is mild staining on the reverse, not disruptive to the design at all. Not postally used, this is an excellent example of a tough-to-find issue of one of the most popular managers ever to take the field.
