Ten personal checks signed by Hall of Famer Ralph Kiner.

While Kiner's baseball career is legendary, he is perhaps best known today as a television commentator.  Kiner, who served as General Manager for the San Diego Padres after his playing career, chose to broadcast the Padres games himself, rather than pay to hire a broadcaster.  Attracting the attention of the Chicago White Sox, he moved to the Windy City and began broadcasting White Sox games in 1961.  The following year he moved to New York, and along with Lindsay Nelson and Bob Murphy began broadcasting Mets games, where he still appears occasionally today.  He is the oldest active baseball announcer at 90 years old.

Each of these checks presents strongly, each has been cancelled.  In the case of each check, Kiner's signature remains clear and unobstructed by bank stamps or other markings.  An excellent selection of signatures from one of the game's most beloved personalities.
