Another heirloom from a non-collecting family, this early 1970s official National League Chub Feeney ball was clearly the beginning of someone's Big Red Machine collection that didn't quite get off the ground, and yet among the ball's six signatures, all the keys are present except Joe Morgan.

Signed in blue ball point, the ball has been signed on the sweet spot by Sparky Anderson (HOF) and on an adjacent panel by hitting coach Ted Kluszewski.  The ball has also been signed by Pete Rose, Tony Perez (HOF), Johnny Bench (HOF), and, inexplicably, Alex Grammas.

Well-preserved with some minor toning and wear, the signatures are all clean with some minor fading and some discoloration/stains near the sweet spot.  Still, this ball is an excellent representation of the great 1970s Reds teams, some of the strongest and most dominant teams that the game has ever seen.  Full LOA from James Spence Authentication.
