Spectacularly elaborate hardcover game program from the December 1, 1894 game between the Yale and Princeton football teams. The last game of the season, the 8-2 Princeton Tigers were blown out, 24-0, by the Yale Bulldogs, captain Frank Hinkey leading the team against the rival Tigers.  The program features approximately 240 pages of photos, rules, rosters and ads, each framed in a colorful border of yellow or blue.  The heavy hardcover front features an illustration of game play, flanked by Princeton and Yale flags, and a blank back cover.  While the cover has been subject to considerable wear at the edges, corners, and surface, the display is still wonderful, an outstanding piece of 19th Century football history, and an early memento of the Princeton/Yale rivalry.
