Likely dating to the turn of the century, attractive but extremely well-worn set of catcher's equipment.  The mask is an unknown manufacturer, a heavy wire grill made of uneven wire, looking almost hand-formed.  The interior is surrounded by a padded lining, leather at the bottom and cloth at the top.  All the padding is brittle and delicate, and the mask no longer has any straps.  The catcher's mitt is an extremely small Reach brand cloth glove, certainly too small for an adult hand.  It is missing the lacing at the thumb area, and the original wrist strap has been replaced with heavy string.  Very brittle as well.  Two very old pieces of catcher's gear with incredible display value.
