Simply an incredible card, the Imperial Tobacco issue of 1912 was a turn-of-the-century Canadian issue featuring players from the International League (which included Toronto and Montreal).  The wood-grain borders make this issue extremely condition-sensitive, as the borders are extremely prone to chipping.

Presented is one of just two Hall of Famers to be included in the set (the other is pitcher Joe McGinnity), "Handsome" Joe Kelley.  By 1912, Kelley's playing career had ended, and he continued with his last team, the Toronto Maple Leafs, as their manager.  This card depicts him in that role, graded EX 5 due to some light edge chipping.  Still, this is an outstanding card, extremely difficult to find in even middle grades.  An outstanding example of one of this difficult issue's two key cards.
