Exceptional early sporting goods publication, measuring approximately 9 1/2" x 12", printed on newsprint.  Several images appear in composite form on the cover, including a baseball player on the upper-left.  Publishined in July of 1889, the piece appears to have been produced for sporting goods retailers and contains articles and advertisements for a variety of sporting products and equipment.  Some wear is evident, particularly at the right edge, which exhibits some creases and paper notches, along with some significant wear at the extreme edge.  Despite this, an exceptional display.
