Please note our printed catalog erroneously described this lot as containing 17 official programs. Outstanding collection of 16 World Series official programs, several containing player autographs, plus one souvenir book from the collection of Ted Patterson.  Collection includes: 1) 1950 World Series Phillies Official Program: Signature by Bill Nicholson and Tommy Byrne on the inside pages.  Unscored, apparent VG/EX condition with several folds and creases on interior pages and surface wear on the cover.  2) 1950 World Series New York Yankees Official Program: Unscored, GOOD condition with some interior pages detached from the spine, which has been repaired with clear tape.  Edge and surface wear is evident throughout.  Signed by Tommy Byrne and Bill Nicholson on the interior pages.  3) 1951 World Series New York Giants Official Program: Unscored, mild toning to the cover and interior pages. Lower spine repaired with clear tape and a large upper corner clip on the back cover, with some overall surface and edge wear.  4) 1951 World Series New York Yankees Official Program: Unscored, overall wear and staining evident on the cover and interior pages, several center pages have begun to detach from the spine at the top staple.  5) 1952 World Series Brooklyn Dodgers Official Program: Unscored, though lineups have been written in, and in the Yankees' case, erased.  Mild toning throughout, the cover has had wear at the spine repaired with clear tape.  Tiny edge tears and wear along the right edge are also evident.  6) 1952 World Series New York Yankees Official Program: Signed on the cover by Ralph Branca and Johnny Sain, with interior signatures by Joe Black, Phil Rizzuto (HOF) and Yogi Berra (HOF).  Unscored, a visible flattened fold down the center, some stray pencil marks on the cover.  The pages at the lower spine have begun to split from the piece.  7) 1953 World Series New York Yankees Official Program: Unscored, though lineups have been written in ink on the scorecard pages.  Some water staining is evident on the cover, along with additional surface and edge wear; minor toning throughout.  8) 1954 World Series New York Giants Official Program: Unscored, VG/EX appearance with moderate age-related toning, notably on the inside pages.  9) 1954 World Series Cleveland Indians Official Program: Scored for the fourth and deciding game, a 7-4 Giants victory to complete the sweep over Cleveland.  Strong eye appeal with some mild toning, a light "75" written in pencil on the cover, which also exhibits some surface and edge wear.  10) 1955 World Series Brooklyn Dodgers Official Program: Cover signed by Johnny Podres, interior pages signed by Podres and Don Zimmer.  Strong appearance, unscored, with surface and edge wear at the cover.  11) 1955 World Series New York Yankees Official Program: Cover signed and personalized to Ted Patterson by Johnny Podres, with interior pages signed by Podres, Don Zimmer and Tommy Byrne. Unscored, strong eye appeal but visible wear on the cover.  12) 1956 World Series Brooklyn Dodgers Official Program: Scored in pencil for Game 1, a 6-3 Dodgers win. The scorecard page is heavily noted, and "Game 1" is written in ink on the cover.  Pressure from the pencil has resulted in ink transfer on the other interior pages in places, though the overall presentation is strong.13) 1957 World Series "As Told by The Milwaukee Journal": Not an official program, this is a collection of  photos and newspaper articles that appeared in the aforementioned newspaper during the 1957 World Series.  In outstanding condition.  14) 1957 World Series New York Yankees Official Program: Unscored, though some handwritten notations appear in ink on the scorecard page.  The number "25" and a stray ink mark appear inside the Yankees logo on the cover.  Aside from some edge and surface wear, strong presentation.  15) 1958 World Series Milwaukee Braves Official Program: Unscored, barely opened with very little wear.  EX/MT condition with some corner dings and a tiny speck of a corner clip at the lower-right.  16) 1959 World Series Chicago White Sox Official Program: Signed on the cover by Maury Wills, scored in pencil for the sixth and final game, a 9-3 Dodgers victory.  Some stray pencil markings appear on the scorecard page, the cover exhibits minor wear, otherwise very strong.  17) 1959 World Series Los Angeles Dodgers Official Program: Signed on the cover by Don Drysdale (HOF), John Roseboro and Maury Wills.  Unscored, the interior scorecard page has detached from the staples.  Aside from age-related toning to the interior pages and mild wear to the cover, strong condition.  It should be noted that the signatures in this lot have not been authenticated by a third-party authenticator.  17 programs in total.
