The early 2021 passing of Hall of Famer Hank Aaron served as the impetus for many collectors to revisit his stellar career, and reevaluate his tremendous lifetime numbers against the greats of the game.  Under the constant pressure of intense racism, Aaron finished in the top 10 in the MVP voting an astonishing thirteen times, slugging 30 or more home runs in fifteen seasons.  We know Aaron for his prodicious home run power, but he was awarded three Gold Gloves, and remains ensconced in the #3 position with 3,771 all-time hits.

Presented here is an outstanding example of Aaron's rookie card, graded EX-MT 6 by PSA but with eye appeal in excess of the grade.  Boasting vivid color and outstanding centering for the issue, NM corners and a clean but lightly-toned reverse, the card would certainly not look out of place in a higher holder.  A very light fish-eye is visible on Hammerin' Hank's cheek, not particularly distrcating but perhaps contributing to the grade.  The top edge exhibits a very, very light area of mild chipping; edge chipping can also be visible on the reverse in some of the green areas, certainly not distracting from the overall eye appeal of what is a spectacular card for the grade.
