Difficult salesman's sample from the 1956 Topps football issue.  One of the sales aides given to Topps salespeople as a "leave-behind" for retailers to preview the upcoming year's cards, the three-card uncut panels are generally difficult to find, and are an excellent companion piece for Topps collectors.  The reverse of the panels contained selling information on that year's set.  The samples generally took a beating because they were transported from place to place, often utilized as display materials by retailers, and otherwise damaged.  This example, which features the cards of Darrell Brewster, Don Colo and Hall of Famer Lou Groza, appears in FAIR condittion with heavy creasing throughout, yet still retains its color and bright borders.  The advertising copy on the reverse is clean.
