An extremely rare 1953 Red Man tobacco pack, one of three uncovered by our consignor in his Nebraska attic, a long-forgotten relic from a fondly-remembered relative.  Red Man packs are exceedingly rare, some wrapped in wax paper and others wrapped in cellophane, which has a tendency to become loose and brittle over time.  This example is wrapped tightly, and has remained in fantastic condition over the years.  Still tightly wrapped on all sides, the graphics of the package are astounding, an incredible representation of the oversized tobacco package, with just slight bowing on the sides consistent with a slight contraction of the contents within but certainly not marring the condition in the very least.

As with the case with other cards from the 1953 issue, the card is reversed so that the purchaser cannot see which player is included with the pack.  The package itself is in apparent NM/MT condition, easily the finest we have ever encountered, perhaps one of the best-preserved examples in the hobby.

An extremely rare piece, incredibly attractive with spectacular graphics.
