Equally venerated among collectors as the 1915 Cracker Jack Joe Jackson is the same issue's card of Hall of Famer Ty Cobb. The striking pose of the Georgia Peach, holding his bat with his trademark grip, coupled with the natural attractiveness of the Cracker Jack issue, make this one of Cobb's most highly sought-after cards. Indeed, within days of receiving the consignment but long before we announced it to the hobby, we received multiple emails from collectors, asking for scans and making private offers for the card. Thankfully for all, our policy is not to accept private offers, instead presenting our material to the entire hobby for bid.
Part of the Full Count Find, this card has been very conservatively assessed by PSA at the GOOD 2 level. With all the hallmarks of a card a full grade higher, the lower right corner contains some excessive wear that presents as mild creasing, all contained within the card's white border. The rest of the card presents extremely strong, with corner wear and toning consistent with a VG card. Well-centered and crisp, this card is fresh to the hobby, presented to collectors for the first time since being pulled out of a Cracker Jack box by a young boy in 1915. An extraordinary relic.
