1959-1970 Reach Official American League baseball signed and inscribed by Hall of Fame pitcher Rube Marquard.  Simply fantastic baseball, Marquard's inscription reads "19 Straight 1912 April 11th Score 13-3 Polo Grounds Against Brooklyn," referring to his 1912 season, which he began by setting a record for winning 19 straight decisions, still a record.  The baseball exhibits some light toning and a few stains, but the inscription is fantastic.  Marquard single-signed baseballs are highly desirable, and this example, with its fantastic inscription, is the finest we have encountered.  From the collection of Ted Patterson, quite likely obtained in person, the inscription at his request.  Full LOA from James Spence Authentication.
