Pair of official programs to the "tribute" nights of Hall of Famers and fan favorites.  Collection includes:  1) 1982 "Earl Weaver Day" program: Six-page (including cover) program from Earl Weaver's final game, September 19, 1982 at Memorial Stadium in Baltimore.  The 1982 season saw the Orioles engaged in a pennant race that came down to the last game of the season against the Milwaukee Brewers, with the teams in a first-place tie.  Milwaukee won the game, 10-2, Hall of Famer Don Sutton outdueling Hall of Famer Jim Palmer, Brewers Hall of Famer Robing Yount slugging two home runs, and stars Cecil Cooper and Ted Simmons adding two more.  Thus ended the Orioles' season and the career of the Manager, at least temporarily, as he came back and managed again in 1985 and 1986, and added one year at the helm of the Gold Coast Suns of the Senior Professional Baseball Association in 1989.  The program appears in VG/EX condition, some minor bends to the paper along with one spot of discoloration on the cover.  2) 1989 "Steve Carlton Night" Souvenir Program: Elegant program celebrating the career of Hall of Fame pitcher Steve Carlton on "Steve Carlton Night," the 1989 game when the Philadelphia Phillies retired Steve Carlton's number.  Printed on heavy stock, the piece is filled with photos, statistics, and tributes to the great left-hander.  Some surface wear is evident on the cover, reducing the technical grade, which would otherwise be NM.  Two programs total.
