After a few seasons in Cleveland and Kansas City, promising young outfielder Roger Maris was the key player in a multi-player deal that sent him to the New York Yankees for the 1960 season.  Maris would win his first of two consecutive MVP awards in 1960, but the season - like all seasons - begain in Spring Training.  Batting third in a March 18 game against the Milwaukee Braves, the newly-acquired left fielder would go 1-for-3 that day.  The stub has been graded POOR 1 by PSA due to significant paper loss and paper remnants on the reverse, however, the overall display quality is far greater, as the front of the ticket appears VG/EX.
