One of the more popular and important issues of the 1960s, the 1966 set is known for its clean photography and simplistic, colorful design.  First year cards of Hall of Famers Jim Palmer, Fergie Jenkins and Don Sutton add to the popularity of the issue.  A clean midgrade set, the primary condition flaws herein relate both to the typical Topps quality control of the era (primarily centering), along with corner issues relating to handling.  A condition breakdown would be 4% NM, 15% EX/MT; 40% EX; 36% VG/EX, and 5% VG and lesser with a few trimmed.

A breakdown of the issue's keys would be as follows:  #1 Mays VG/EX; #28 Niekro VG/EX; #30 Rose PSA EX-MT 6; #36 Hunter VG; #50 Mantle Beautiful but trimmed; #70 Yastrzemski PSA NM 7; #72 Perez VG/EX; #100 Koufax PSA EX-MT 6; #110 Banks VG/EX; #120 Killebrew EX; #125 Brock VG/EX; #126 Palmer EX; #132 Cepeda EX; #195 Morgan EX; #200 Matthews EX; #210 Mazeroski EX/MT; #254 Jenkins EX/MT; #255 Stargell EX; #288 Sutton EX; #300 Clemente VG/EX; #310 F. Robinson PSA NM 7; #320 Gibson EX; #390 B. Robinson EX/MT; #410 Kaline VG; #420 Marichal EX; #430 Drysdale VG/EX; #469 Murcer PSA NM 7; #500 Aaron VG; #550 McCovey VG/EX.  A strong, clean, midgrade example of the popular Topps issue.  598 cards total, with a few variations included, for a total of 608.
