Part of a large collection of beautiful T3 Turkey Reds we are featuring in our winter and spring auctions, this is a jaw-dropping example of Fall of Fame pitcher Addie Joss. The T3s we are offering are stunning and largely fresh to the hobby, many with the original color and gloss that today's collectors are not often fortunate enough to see.
"Superb" is the only real way to describe the quality of this Joss. One of the most popular players ever to set foot on a baseball diamond, both among fans and players alike, Joss is pictured here on the mound, in the stretch position. The image and card surface are smooth and exhibit no signs of wear. The borders are clean and crisp, and the corners are square, exhibiting just mild touches of wear, barely noticeable at arm's length. The card reverse, featuring the 1-75 checklist back, is crisp and bold, the only hints of wear at the corners.
We cannot stress enough the beauty of this card, other than to reiterate the simple statement that this is the highest-graded example of a Turkey Red Addie Joss card in existence. No examples have graded higher, and, in fact, just one other example exists at this grade level. According to both PSA and SGC, there is not a nicer graded T3 Addie Joss. Not to belabor the hype, but this is a beautiful, important, and unbelievably scarce card, an astounding opportunity for any collector to obtain the best of the best.
