Attractive Acme Pictures news service photo measuring 5" x 8" and featuring a familiar portrait of Yankees captain Lou Gehrig.  The image of Gehrig in this photo was used for his 1932 R328 US Caramel card, a well-known image of the Iron Horse.  The photo dates to the early 1930s, though this example has been made from a duplicate negative around the time the photo was taken, resulting in the Type III designation.  Authenticated and encapsulated by PSA/DNA, accompanied by a separate LOA as well.
